Alfonsina Romero is a Brooklyn native interior designer living in Manhattan for the past 10 years. After receiving a BA in Communications with dual minors in Marketing and Psychology in Brooklyn College, Alfonsina left the Public Relations and Events world to pursue a full-time degree in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).  Specializing in hospitality design and FF&E, she joined Joe Ginsberg Design as a key specifier and FF&E designer, where she developed a keen understanding of luxury hospitality and residential interiors as well as an appreciation for materials and the artisanal, hands on process of design. Alfonsina also worked at Helpern Architects, gaining practical experience and further expanding her knowledge to a variety of markets including workplace, multi-family residential design, and completed a design package for a 290-key Marriott Property in Times Square. Inspired by originality, Alfonsina’s designs are contemporary and rooted in minimalism and functionality. Alfonsina is very creative and strives to introduce high style décor and innovated concepts with unanticipated elements and juxtapositions through art, lighting and textures to create an experience that is both provocative and memorable.
